Notice anything different? You need to plan your time!
One of the main differences between high school and college is how you spend your time. In high school you spend more time in class than studying outside of class. Most students attending orientation share that they spend between 5-10 hours a week outside of class studying or reading. In college, you will spend more time outside of class learning (the general guideline is 2 hours of studying for every hour spent in class) than in class.
That’s why it is so important for you to take personal initiative to decide when you study, how you study and what you study. It’s all up to you!
